Fun Fact

Today when I was browsing through Trulia Luxe I found out some fun information regarding the house I featured on this past Tuesday Tour pt. 6.

Trulia states that the house is being sold by Zynga CEO Mark Pincus and his wife is the co-founder of One Kings Lane. Apparently One Kings Lane was responsible for the fantastic remodel and staging. Interesting!

You can find the article here.

Hope everyone is having a fabulous day!

Tuesday Tour Pt. 6

On today's Tuesday tour I saw a fabulous house that had been redone by the same individuals who had remodeled and put the house from Tuesday Tour Pt. 5 on the market.

The house from Tuesday Tour Pt. 5 had been redone in a very modern and chic way. This house was a traditional style house but they used a number of different textures to make the house more modern and sophisticated. I immediately feel in love with this luxurious abode and couldn't wait to share it with all of you!

[I've Never Seen an Entry like this! So fun!]

[I love the Yellow Tile in the Kitchen and all the Windows]

[I Love, Love, Love this Dining Room]

[The Back of the House]

This house is selling for $8,900,000! Based on the San Francisco Market and time and detail that was put into this house I think it's priced right. The house from Tuesday Tour Pt. 5 had offers put on it the very same day they it was first shown!

I hope everyone is having a fabulous Tuesday!
What are your thoughts on the house?

Half Marathon #2

I'm excited to say that I've now officially completed two half marathons! The race went fairly well, however my knee really acted up during the race which unfortunately caused me to have a very slow time. The weather was perfect, the course was beautiful and all in all yesterday was a fabulous day. I can't wait to run more half marathons!

Here are some pictures of my day:

[Happy to Have my Medal]

[The Medal was a Tiffany & Co Necklace]

[A Close Up of the Medal/Necklace]

[Showing of my Medal]

I have mixed feelings about the race itself. I feel like most other races are more organized then this one. Normally only registered runners are allowed in the waves, however anyone was allowed in and that made for a very crowded unpleasant start area. There were way to many walkers mixed in with the runners and the walkers were not familiar with runner etiquette. For example, the walkers were walking with up to eight people in a row in the middle of the road, this made things difficult on the runners and therefore people were constantly pushing and shoving throughout the entire event. At the finish line you were required to stand in lines to receive your finishers shirt, medal, and food. I needed to get food at the finish line but it was literally so packed I ended up standing shoulder to shoulder in a human traffic jam for about 10 minutes until I started feeling claustrophobic and left.

Like I said before, all in all it was a very nice and scenic race, and the medal was a Tiffany's necklace which was fun. Someone even got engaged after they crossed the finish line which is sooooo romantic! Does that make me a dork?

Tuesday Tour Pt.5

Today I saw single-family home that I absolutely fell in love with. It was spacious, full of light, and inspiring! Every part of the house was perfect!

See for yourself:
[I Love the Granite Kitchen Island]

[Open Sitting Area]

I love how there is ample room for a sitting area next to the kitchen. It makes it so easy to casually entertain guests while preparing a light snack or dinner. I also love the how the entire room opens to a fabulous deck!

[I love the Bath Tub in the Master Bathroom]

*Le sigh*
It's so perfect! This house could be all yours for $4.895 Million!

Half Marathon #2 and Other News

It's been delightful in San Francisco once again, and the city is buzzing with tons of fun and different activities. The annual Fleet Week air show is this weekend, and today is the 2011 Burning Man Decompression . I'm sitting at the real estate office on this lovely Sunday holding floor time listening to the Blue Angels fly above and realizing I'm once again not going to make it to Burning Man Decompression.

Yesterday was essentially my "test run" to see if I could actually make it through my half marathon next weekend. If you know anything about running half marathons then you're probably sitting there going, "test run" ? I haven't been feeling prepared for my race at all, back in March when I signed up for the event I was in great shape and regularly running 8-10 miles on any given weekend. However, with graduation, my trip to Europe, and becoming gainfully employed running was put on the back burner. I ran 10 miles yesterday in about 2 hours, and that was enough to make me feel that I could actually get through my half marathon. I actually felt incredibly excited for the race for the first time since March when I registered. Hopefully, one week from today I'll be having a post race Bloody Mary checking out my sweet new medal!
Hope all is well with everyone!

Tuesday Tour Pt.4

I'm a day late, but I have a fabulous house to share with everyone! Oftentimes I find two to three houses that I fall in love with but, this Victorian Filbert Street house blew me away. I particularly liked the Filbert Street house because it looks like a regular little San Franciscan house, but it is so elegant and classy on the inside.

[The front of the house]

[The living room]

I love Victorian houses because they have such great features, such as the built in bookshelves and cabinets, and fireplaces. This house is fantastic because the original cabinetry work is still there, yet the house has obviously been updated.

[Another view of the living room]

Another great characteristic of Victorians in San Francisco are the fantastic bay windows. I love how the bay windows light up the room, they are so gorgeous!

[The dining room]

[Another sitting room off the kitchen]
Lastly, as everyone knows I love it when there is some sort of backyard area, because in places like San Francisco I think it's important to be able to have a peaceful outdoor area to relax in!
[The fabulous backyard]

I hope you've enjoyed the tour and have fallen in love with this house like I have. Too bad it's $2.725 million!
